The WCW main stay remained a mighty babyface well into his 50s, becoming one of TNA’s greatest world champions. Rocking the house with various new generation talents at the time such as AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Bobby Roode, Sting not only proved he could still go in the ring but that he could still be the top dog.

Holding the TNA World Championship four times along with their tag titles and a spot in their Hall of Fame, Sting did as much as anyone to lend credibility and star power to the then number 2 wrestling promotion in the world.

Sting’s long awaited arrival in WWE was greeted with much fanfare at Survivor Series 2014. Still possessing the presence and charisma that made him the most popular star in WCW, fans were disappointed when he entered a feud with Triple H instead of The Undertaker. Sting worked two major singles matches in WWE in 2015, losing to Triple H at WrestleMania and then to Seth Rollins at Night of Champions. While his booking was disappointing, his work between the ropes proved he could still put it together and pop the crowd. An all time great babyface, Sting aged like fine wine.
