10 Wrestlers Who Sacrificed The Most To Become WWE Champion
7. Triple H
There's no other wrestler in WWE history that can say that they have come back from two torn quadriceps to win the WWE Title. Some people hate Triple H for some of the questionable things he's done throughout his career, but he deserves all the respect in the world for his ability to overcome severe injuries without missing a beat. The first (left) torn quad happened in May 2001 in a tag match on Raw. The Game famously finished the match when most people would have been unable to walk. In January 2007 he tore his right quad during the match and was gone for most of the year, which meant he missed major events like the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. The big comeback from the first torn quad in 2002 was one of the best in WWE history because his returned happened at Madison Square Garden in New York City. He was never more popular than he was on that night. Soon after, he won the WWE Undisputed Title from Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 18. People think that a lot of things have been handed to Triple H because of who he is married to, but if you really think about it, the guy has been through a lot. Those injuries weren't easy to come back from, yet he found a way to do it.
