10 Wrestlers Who Saved Their Careers TWICE With Gimmicks

3. Bray Wyatt (Eater Of Worlds and Firefly Fun House)

From NXT lameness ("Sherman tank with a Ferrari engine") and Nexus 2.0 hell as Husky Harris to legit mystique as Bray Wyatt. That's the story of Bray's run in WWE, and it could've been even better had the writers not repeatedly undermined his character by booking Wyatt as a perennial loser.

No wonder he lost his mind and became a children's TV host with a potentially-satanic agenda.

Oh yes, Bray's recent change and masked teases hark back to the days when a creepy southern cult leader first waltzed onto NXT (the good one, not the faux-reality show) in 2013. Back then, Wyatt had Charles Manson vibes coming out his ears, and it was spooky stuff. Then, as aforementioned, creative dumped on his early promise.

'Firefly Fun House' is the most interesting thing Wyatt has done for years, and it's already saving him from being wasted potential. When allowed, Bray is one of the best promo men in the biz. Here's hoping WWE get it right this time.
