10 Wrestlers Who Should Hold The AEW All-Atlantic Title

1. Orange Cassidy

Earlier this year, it felt like we’d seen a new dawn for Orange Cassidy. He was wrestling on top form, massively over with fans, and the recipient of new, licensed entrance music. This was seen as a tacit message from Tony Khan; I’m investing in this guy, so you should too.

However, since then, it feels as though Cassidy’s momentum has been squandered.

Meanwhile, PAC might be a Bastard, but he’s not a cowardly, snivelling heel. He’s a ripped, wrestling dynamo. While other guys might use nut shots, baseball bats and diamond rings as a cheap short cut to victory, PAC’s desperation move is to deliver the kind of dazzling aerial he resents having to drag from deep within his arsenal. So, why has the Death Triangle man suddenly taken to whacking guys with hammers?

All of this needs to be going somewhere. PAC bringing down the hammer on Trent last Friday brought a rare level of emotion out of “Freshly Squeezed”, and now he and PAC are set for an All-Atlantic Title rematch this Wednesday. Surely this is building to a victory for Orange?

Tony Khan needs to reward fan investment in the Orange Cassidy character, and the Best Friends man would look silly to fall for the same trick twice. Expect the gold to change hands on Dynamite.
