The former Goldust has aged like a fine wine, as although he's had some impressive years in the business, he's currently on one of the best runs of his career. During the late 2000s, things weren't looking too bright for the son of the legendary Dusty Rhodes, as his position in TNA under the moniker Black Reign was a pale comparison to his previous years, and his time switching between companies was never met too well.

Once he made his way back to WWE in 2008 for the fourth time in his career, Dustin was looking in pretty good shape, and even began to put in some great matches. After another departure and subsequent fifth return, Rhodes was better than ever, and this was evident in his tag team partnership with his brother Cody, the Golden Truth and his unexpected heel turn. Still, even then, The Natural wasn't in his final form.

When AEW was announced, everyone knew that Dustin Rhodes would be joining, to start a new path in his storied career, and it's safe to say that he's knocked it out of the park. His Double or Nothing bout against his brother becoming one of the best matches in both their careers and proves that age can't stop gold.
