10 Wrestlers Who VANISHED When WCW Died

7. Air Paris

Air Paris made his Nitro debut on the 5 March 2001 episode, where his as-yet-unnamed team lost to Kid Romeo and Elix Skipper in the Cruiserweight Tag Team tournament.

On the last episode of Thunder, Paris’ partner AJ Styles was renamed Air Styles, and the team christened Air Raid. Neither one was considered important enough to have their contracts picked up by the WWF, despite both agreeing they had the worst contracts in the company at that time.

Frank Parris, the man behind Air Paris, worked multiple promotions following the closure of WCW as both a wrestler and booker, picking up several championships in the years that followed. Eventually, he retired, citing a distaste for the business that grew from his experiences in WCW and their subsequent sale to the WWF.

Still a fan of wrestling himself, Parris and his daughters are all massive fans of his former partner and good friend Air Styles (whatever happened to him?) and has begun to dip his toe back into the business considering appearances at Talk 'N Shop A Mania although he’s ruled out returning to the ring full time.

After hearing that you are what you eat, Mik took a good hard look at his diet and realised he might just be a szechuan spare rib alongside prawn fried rice.
