Kid Romeo was notable in WCW for his truly terrifying gimmick: he was packaged as a heel version of Ricky Martin and even had a cover of Cup Of Life as an entrance theme.

His team lost the Cruiserweight Tag Team Title tournament to Rey Mysterio Junior and Billy Kidman in the second to last match WCW aired and, while partner Elix Skipper debuted as a member of the Alliance during the Invasion storyline, Romeo’s contract wasn’t picked up by the WWF.

Romeo wrestled for Puerto Rico's World Wrestling Council as well as Florida Championship Wrestling, but is best known for his time in TNA where he worked mostly as a jobber. His only victory with the promotion came during a dark tag match. It was no surprise when, in 2005, he retired from wrestling and started working as an exterminator.

In 2008, the lure of the ring temporarily drew Romeo back to NWA South Atlantic where, as part of the Casanova Cartel, he held their tag team championship for six months. Upon losing the belts, Romeo retired once more having finally reached held a belt.

After hearing that you are what you eat, Mik took a good hard look at his diet and realised he might just be a szechuan spare rib alongside prawn fried rice.
