Evan Karagias had an interesting career in WCW.

His Cruiserweight Championship run was ended when his manager Madusa, sick of his wandering eyes, pinned him to become the first female champion. A couple of months later, Evan joined Shane Helms and Shannon Moore to form the first pro-wrestling boy band (do yourself a favour and look up the terrible “Can’t Get You Out Of My Heart” by Three Count). Using the Freebird rule, the team concurrently held and defended the WCW Hardcore Championship.

One of the first 24 wrestlers bought by the WWF following the closure of WCW, a concussion early on meant that he wasn’t used in the ring during the nine months until he was released from his contract. For the next ten years, Karagias worked the indie circuit, finding some success. He also worked as an actor and stunt coordinator, his most famous role being Grey Fox in a short Metal Gear film that he also worked stunts for.

Nowadays Karagias can be found in North Carolina alongside his wife Jennifer and their three children, where he works doing tax preparation.

After hearing that you are what you eat, Mik took a good hard look at his diet and realised he might just be a szechuan spare rib alongside prawn fried rice.
