7. Matt Hardy
While you might have been expecting to see Matt Hardy's brother Jeff on this list, all of his run-ins with the law have come during periods where his career was on the decline. As for the older Hardy boy, he's had much worse luck.
On August 20th 2011, the multiple time tag team champion was arrested for an alleged DUI. Then, two days later, he was arrested on a separate charge relating to steroids that were found in his home.
This couldn't have come at a worse time for Hardy. He had made his TNA debut earlier that year, having departed WWE after 16 years (on-and-off) with the promotion. He had been involved in a number of high-profile storylines, including a feud over the tag team titles, when he was suspended by the promotion in June.
This arrest would eventually cost Hardy his job, as he was released from his TNA contract the same day as his DUI was issued. He wouldn't return to the company for three years, but not before being arrested again in 2014 after fighting with his wife Reby Sky in a hotel.
