10 Wrestlers Who Were Clearly Pissed About Losing Matches

2. Kofi Kingston - SmackDown, 2019

Acting as perhaps the most deflating end to a much-loved Championship reign in WWE history, it comes as little surprise to learn that Kofi Kingston wasn't exactly overjoyed at the overall execution of his eventual conquering at the hands of The Beast.

Coming on night one of SmackDown's journey into FOX waters, fans were right to be a little worried about the prospect of Brock Lesnar getting his hands on The New Day man. Going from zero to squashed in a soul-crushing seven seconds, a new WWE Champion was quickly crowned, and Kingston was soon dusted off and thrown back down the card.

And while Kingston largely refused to let his true feelings on the matter be known in the immediate aftermath of the main event squash, aside from a rather devastating backstage interview on the night, the former WWE Champion did let his guard down ever so slightly when speaking to DAZN in May.

When recalling the disappointing experience, Kingston would admit to wanting to do things differently if he could:

"I told a lot of people that if it was up to me, I would have had that match be different in the way that it went down."

Well, at least the eventual Cain Velasquez angle was worth the demoralising defeat... oh, wait.
