10 Wrestlers Who Were Wrongly Judged On ONE Match

1. Chris Jericho Is A WCW Flop

Chris Jericho must've felt pretty low when Vinnie Mac hauled him into the office and told him his WWF contract wasn't worth the paper it was printed on. The then-Y2J wrote about this in one of his first books, and admitted that he didn't see that nosedive from incoming WCW star-underwhelming WWF hire coming.

Then, he gave Chyna a black eye and things really broke down.

McMahon was appalled by this, but Jericho said it was an accident and that Chyna knew the risks - everyone in wrestling gets hit at some point. Still, his back-to-back pay-per-view bouts with her at Survivor Series and Armageddon disappointed Vince, and he started to view Jericho as somebody he couldn't trust.

That stink hung around over Jericho's head until early-2000. He'd been judged for an accidental stiff shot during one match against Chyna, and the boss didn't think his overall work was up to scratch either. What a brutal time for a future great.
