Whenever ‘Taiga Style’ is mentioned, comparisons to Bryan Danielson and Jay Lethal always seem to follow, and for good reason.

Lee Moriarty is a professional wrestling prodigy, plain and simple. Lee Moriarty has a bright future in AEW, especially when it comes to being a prospect for William Regal and his Blackpool Combat Club, but with the inclusion of ROH under the Khan umbrella, there’s plenty of glory for Moriarty to claim and wrongs to right, especially after Jay Lethal left the Pennsylvania native lying following their contest at Supercard of Honor.

The match itself, framed as a passing of the torch from the former face of ROH to the rising star, certainly lived up to expectations, but there is unfinished business between the two, especially after Lethal resorted to a low blow to put away Moriarty.

Lee Moriarty’s match with Lethal offers an excellent example of what the Pennsylvania native has to offer both AEW and ROH, and why he is the future of professional wrestling.
