Charlie Dempsey has had quite an interesting run in WWE since joining the company back in 2021. After a brief stint in NXT:UK, the Blackpool native found himself on the main NXT television following the UK brands dissolution last year. As the real life Bailey Matthews continues to improve on his young career, fans are just as excited for his success as what that success will bring in just a few months.

Following a successful run in All Elite Wrestling, William Regal, Dempsey's real life father, requested his release from the company in order to jump back to WWE in order to play a role in training his son. While that wish was granted, it came with the condition that the former King of the Ring not appear on screen for Triple H and Co. until 2024. While returning to NXT alongside his son would do wonders for Dempsey's credibility, there is a much better way to use the two Regal's once they are both ready.

The Brawling Brutes have surprisingly found themselves as one of the more popular babyface teams on the main roster following Sheamus' standout performances last year. That along with signs leading towards Butch returning to his Bruiserweight gimmick means it will be time to strike while the iron is hot. Introducing Charlie Regal as their newest member, followed by William's triumphant return can allow The Brutes to capture the same magic the Blackpool Combat Club had under the tutelage of one of professional wrestlings most respect names.
