10 Wrestlers Whose WWE Legacies Have Been Revised
8. Mr. Kennedy
Originally, it was thought that WWE had made a huge blunder by letting Mr. Kennedy - a megastar-in-waiting, or so it was presumed - slip through their fingers. But in the time since his departure, during which he became Mr. Anderson during a stint with TNA, many fans appear to have revised their stance on the former Mr. Money in the Bank, who is now regarded perhaps more as a solid second-tier talent than he is a potential Rock or Cena figure.
The truth is, we'll never really know. But for an ill-timed injury in 2007, after which Edge became the briefcase holder (and subsequently the World Heavyweight Champion), Kennedy likely would have got his chance in the main event after floundering for so many years in the upper mid-card. He didn't break out as a mega-star in TNA, but to be fair, few did, and it was just after his departure from WWE in 2009 that they began to put some faith in younger talent (Sheamus, Miz, Del Rio, Swagger, et al).
