First Raw Match: 23rd October, 1995

Last Raw Match: 2nd April, 2018

What a unique and brave proposition the original incarnation of Goldust was.

Not in the hands of WWE's creative team, sadly, but what a unique and brave proposition it was anyway. Goldust was a sinister cinephile that may or may not have been homosexual, asking a question of audiences that many weren't ready to confront - is simply being gay worthy of disdain?

The company unfortunately muddied the waters, making him predatory towards Razor Ramon et al whilst simultaneously taking a giant leap backwards by adding (the admittedly brilliant) Marlena to his act to soften the stance.

Savio Vega was his Goldust's maiden Monday Night Raw victim before moving his attentions towards his cuban chim, whilst his last shift on the show came in 2018, shortly before his younger brother's wrestling company gave him an unexpected WWE exit strategy. On that night, he lost to Matt Hardy...but more on him later.
