Well, if WWE were looking to get rid of their two best-inked performers, then they hit the nail on the head.

Black's out of the ordinary character and presentation is massively influenced by his tattoos. The star's lack of lavish ring gear makes his body art the focal point of his aesthetic, and he rocks it.

The entry on Ricochet discussed how vital placement is, and Black goes in an interesting direction with that, as his designs are so disjointed, but that gives them breathing space and makes them seem all the more mysterious/striking - very on-brand for Black.

There's plenty all over him to notice, and each piece feeds into the idea of his occultist persona. For example, there's a tonne of religious/mythological iconography, including depictions of multiple Hindu gods like Yama (The God of Death), Mahakala and the warrior goddess Kali.

But Hinduism isn't the only part of his reaches into spiritualism, as he also adopts plenty of Satanic images, an angelic palm reader image and more. But, perhaps the most eye-catching and well-designed piece is the massive depiction of the Judeo-Christian demon Lilith on his back that is equal parts terrifying and beautiful.
