The Undertaker may very well be the King of Unfinished Business in World Wrestling Entertainment. His entire career has seen men attack him, maybe even injure him, but fail to receive that marquee bout with the Deadman or even receive a return bout of violence. This from a man who waited over a year before getting something approaching revenge on Brock Lesnar in 2015.

The most glaring example of this may well have come in 2010, when Wade Barrett and what was left of The Nexus helped Kane bury the Deadman at Bragging Rights. Why did they help Kane? What beef did they have with The Undertaker? We never found out, as a planned WrestleMania match between Barrett and Taker was shelved.

Who else? Well, The Shield put Taker out of action in the summer of 2013, but the rumoured match between The Brothers of Destruction and The Shield failed to materialise. If we're looking for a less desired bit of unfinished business, Ahmed Johnson attacked Undertaker way back in 1997 only to get injured before Taker could get revenge.

With Undertaker featuring less and less and less it is unlikely that Barrett, Johnson and Ambrose will get theirs, let alone the rest. The Deadman will always have a few t's uncrossed, and few i's missing their dots.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
