If you're beaten down and taken away on the shoulders of your conquerors, a chokeslam on a B-PPV isn't really retribution is it? This is what happened with Kane and The Wyatt Family in late 2013. Bray Wyatt defeated the Big Red Monster in a Ring of Fire match at SummerSlam that year, putting the Demon out of action for a while.

Kane returned at Hell in a Cell, delivered a chokeslam to Wyatt and The Miz and seemingly moved on with his life. Maybe he is a man that doesn't bear a grudge, but a cursory glance at the history of The Undertaker's little brother would suggest that he isn't one to let bygones be bygones.

Kane and the Wyatts crossed paths once more at the end of last year, but that was more about The Undertaker than it was Kane. To me this beef feels like it ended with a 'welp, what next?' as opposed to any true finality.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
