5. Doudrop

2022 peaked for Doudrop on Saturday 29 January. There, the powerhouse unsuccessfully challenged for Becky Lynch's Raw Women's Championship at the Royal Rumble in the highest profile match of the Scot's life.

Since then, Doudrop has only picked up one win on main WWE TV across the rest of 2022, and that came all the way back in February when she bested Liv Morgan. While it's not exactly the most prestigious piece of gold, the former Piper Niven's first ever WWE title win - defeating Dana Brooke for the 24/7 Championship - was even relegated to Main Event.

Being paired up with fellow Scottish grappler Nikki Cross - well, Nikki A.S.H. - had promise for Doudrop, but that tandem ultimately came up short in any match of significance. Now, with Nikki once again embracing her crazy side, the one-time Viper has been left out in the cold - as reflected by the fact that she's not wrestled since a September appearance on NXT.

While there's been no reports of any injury issues for Doudrop across these past few months, one can only hope that her absence is part of WWE creative coming up with something fresh for the 31-year-old. And please, please, please, let that something fresh involve the dropping of that god-awful Doudrop moniker.
