C.J Perry - otherwise known as Lana - has really put in her time with WWE. She joined the company as a valet for Rusev in NXT, having been an actor and singer before signing. Lana instantly made an impression, and as Rusev's stock raised, so did hers.

When the pair eventually debuted on the main roster things were looking good. But as Rusev was put through losses and strange storylines, so was Perry. She wasn't a wrestler yet was still frequently buried, with comments about sexual promiscuity from The Rock and generally being treated like an object.

Eventually, Lana ended up making her in-ring debut. Whilst her wrestling skill is nothing to write home about the former Russian is decent for someone who joined as an actor.

But now, Lana has been put through a table on three successive episodes of RAW. There is speculation that this has come from her husband being a player in a rival company, but all we know for sure is that WWE seems to enjoy watching her get beaten.

Like Rusev, this has been a constant throughout her career. Consistently building up and gaining traction, then being mockingly thrown down again. Let's hope that things improve for her someday.
