10 Wrestlers WWE Loved Burying Over & Over
2. Damien Sandow
"What's that? There's going to be a celebrity on RAW this week? Wow, I can't wait to see how they humiliate Damien Sandow. "This is what WWE must have believed every fan thought whenever a celebrity was announced to be appearing on RAW.
Another example of a hugely popular star that WWE just ran into the ground. Sandow's career started strong, with a fun gimmick and some considerable screen time. When he won Money in the Bank, it seemed that he was destined for the main event. Unfortunately after winning the briefcase, he was continually defeated until his biggest embarrassment when he cashed in on a hurt John Cena and still lost. There was no way he could be taken seriously from there on out.
He then began dressing up regularly. WWE may have seen this as funny, but it completely buried any credibility the star once had. We then found ourselves watching as he built himself up with substantial character work only to get buried again and again. The less said about Stunt Double Sandow, the better.
WWE seemed to adore taking any success that this guy had and burying it six feet under.
