10 Wrestlers You Can't Believe WWE Haven't Signed (Yet)

3. Nick Aldis

Nick Aldis is a well-spoken, book-writing, body-sculpting, tradition-favouring mountain of a man who once had WWE signee written all over him. As each passing year comes and goes, some wrestling fans scratch their heads that the McMahon family and Triple H still haven't done whatever it takes to sign Aldis.

Nobody can lie and claim that Nick (as Magnus) was ready for the big time when he first hit TNA back in 2009. He blatantly wasn't, and it'd be years before he was anywhere close to becoming the solid worker he is these days. Time spent under the learning tree of UK great Doug Williams and an impeccable dedication to improving himself eventually turned Aldis into a winner.

WWE should've jumped at the chance to sign him when he left Impact in 2015. He was ready then.

Annoyingly, the company spurned talks with an interested Nick around that time, and his excitement would fade. When he couldn't get a "straight answer" from WWE about whether or not they'd like to bring him in, Aldis pursued other opportunities instead.
