10 Wrestlers You Can't Support Online Without Being Abused
3. Eva Marie
Ahh yes, the WWE's perennial whipping woman... While just about every wrestling fan you talk to will say something negative about Eva Marie, the fact is what she has done in WWE is pretty damn impressive. While it can't and won't be denied that Eva Marie was at one point the most terrible thing to step into a WWE ring since Muhammad Hassan, it can't be denied that her abilities in the ring have improved significantly since making the bold decision to move back down to NXT and also train independently with Brian Kendrick. Marie deserves a tonne of credit for putting her career at risk by requesting to go back to do the training which WWE should have made her do in the first place. Sure, her microphone skills may still be on par with a foghorn, but Eva Marie is clearly dedicated to spending time in NXT to improve her abilities rather than look for a quick elevation back to the main roster, having sided with Nia Jax for the time being. That is incredibly impressive for her to do despite WWE officials obviously yapping in her ear that they want her back up at the top for marketing reasons. Marie has avoided the temptation to do what is best for her wallet and worse for the Divas Division by staying in NXT to become a better performer, but our wonderful internet friends will forever be chanting "you can't wrestler" as they go into their senior years despite Eva Maries obvious development.
Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
