10 Wrestlers You Should Be Most Thankful For This Year

7. The Undertaker

Heading into 2015, nobody knew what to expect from The Undertaker. While it was rumored that the Phenom wasn't retiring (as many initially expected following his loss to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX), the shadow of his last outing loomed large. Would Undertaker be able to recover from the ending of his streak and devastating injury to perform at the level he once could? 'Taker didn't show up again until WrestleMania XXXI, where he defeated Bray Wyatt. While the Phenom looked to be in great shape, the match was a mediocre affair once again marred by injury (this time, Wyatt's). When it was all said and done, it almost seemed to be sad and unnecessary. That seemed to be that, until next year. It wasn't. At Battleground, Undertaker shocked the world by returning, attacking Brock Lesnar, and demanding a rematch. After a heated pull-apart brawl and a claim by the Phenom that he had made his "true" return, the two clashed at SummerSlam, with Undertaker scoring a tainted win, but delivering an impressive performance. They battled one final time at Hell in a Cell in a brutal brawl where Lesnar scored the victory. Undertaker has gone on to battle The Wyatt Family at Survivor Series, all the while looking more like the Phenom of old than he has in years. Many believe that he's currently on a "retirement tour" of sorts, but seeing all that Undertaker has accomplished, it would be foolish to put an expiration date on his career at this point. Whether it's 1990 or 2015, we must be thankful for The Undertaker.
