10 Wrestlers You Won't Believe Beat Roman Reigns

9. The Miz

Monday Night Raw heralded its 25th Anniversary with a special episode on 22nd January 2018 called... Raw 25 Years. A quarter of a century, and WWE still can't think of a good name.

The anniversary, which technically took place 11 days earlier on January 11th, was celebrated with huge matches like Heath Slater & Rhyno vs Titus Worldwide, Goldust vs Curt Hawkins, and DX and The Kliq humiliating The Revival.

How exciting!

The highest profile match that took place on the show was Roman Reigns defending his Intercontinental Championship against The Miz. Reigns had beaten Miz for the belt two months earlier, so he'll surely overcome his challenger once again? Well, unfortunately not.

With the help of The Miztourage (Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas) and an exposed turnbuckle, the A-Lister pinned Reigns with a Skull-Crushing Finale to win the title for the eighth time.

Roman Reigns has beaten The Miz way more times than he's ever lost to him, but this defeat still has to sting, and it was on a big anniversary show and for a title. Still, could have been worse. Reigns could have been in The Revival that night.
