10 Wrestling April Fools That Would Really Suck

3. Daniel Bryan Posted To NXT

It's a testament to how popular the man is that wrestling fans see winning the Intercontinental Title in a featured match at WrestleMania as a step down the WWE food chain for Daniel Bryan. Hopes are high that the superb performer can lift the title out of the doldrums, returning the belt to being as prestigious as it once was. It seems that Bryan is out of the World Title picture, at least for a while, but it hopefully won't be long before he's back tearing it up in main events. Going by popularity, Bryan deserves to be at the top of the card, so just how sorry a state of affairs would it be if WWE decided the best use of his talents was to elevate the fledgling NXT brand! Posting Daniel Bryan down to Full Sail University would be viewed a supreme slap in the face from WWE management towards the fans, even if Bryan could work magic against the likes of Kevin Owens, Finn Balor and Hideo Itami. Those bouts would be excellent, but a man with the skills of Bryan deserves to be viewed by millions.
