4. CM Punk's Mask
Speaking of short-lived hair loss problems, CM Punk also experienced the pain of losing his beloved locks in 2010. At the Over The Limit Pay-Per-View, Punk met Rey Mysterio in a one-on-one encounter, whereby the loser had to sacrifice something. If Mysterio lost, he'd have to accept Punk as his saviour, joining the Straight Edge Society, but if Punk lost, he could kiss goodbye to his long hair. Obviously, it was the preaching heel who would come up on the losing end of the bargain, being shaved pretty much bald - just like Kurt Angle in a previous entry - by the masked Rey. Immediately henceforth, CM Punk started appearing in a specially-made mask, one designed to hide his shame from the laughing faces of the 'WWE Universe'. It was a strange time, because Punk looked a lot like a slightly bigger El Generico (Sami Zayn) during this period, and his run under the hood would only last for a few short months. Obviously, Punk would go on to be the longest-running World Champion of his generation, but not before having to jump through hoops and prove his worth to the WWE roster, sacrificing his precious hair in the process.
