10 Wrestling Documentaries You Need To See Before You Die
7. Wrestling Road Diaries
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eok6hq7gz5E Bryan Danielson may be riding high as Daniel Bryan in WWE, and managed to grab that elusive "brass ring" Vince McMahon keeps banging on about at Wrestlemania XXX in 2014, but life wasn't always so assured for the former 'American Dragon'. Once living the life of an independent wrestler, Danielson is joined by Colt Cabana and Sal Rinauro for this interesting snapshot of what that life is like. Such was the success of this release, that Cabana produced a second one, charting the lives of men such as Luke Gallows and Cliff Compton, both former WWE stars. The second Wrestling Road Diaries isn't quite as interesting as the first one, however, partly due to the success that Bryan Danielson has experienced since it was released in 2009. Making the next town, injured, broke or otherwise is a main feature in Wrestling Road Diaries, which expertly describes what it's like to live hand-to-mouth, whilst trying to broker a successful career in wrestling. Whilst legions of fans across the world admire these guys for their work, it struggles to pay the bills, and this documentary is worthwhile even just for the inclusion of the man now known as Daniel Bryan.
