Formed in the latter months of 2015, the League Of Nations was comprised of Sheamus, Rusev, Alberto Del Rio, and 'King' Barrett. The group was supposed to represent international flavour, but the men were all friends behind the scenes too. Sadly, things didn't really work out for the group, and they were disbanded shortly after WrestleMania 32.

A run of less than six months was all the faction were afforded by WWE, a stint Barrett never felt was enough to establish them. Granting an interview to WrestleZone Radio, the Englishman (who has since departed the promotion) gave his overall thoughts on the stable.

Cutting to the chase, Barrett said that the League Of Nations were only really there to help prepare Roman Reigns for his big WrestleMania victory over Triple H in the show's main event. In other words, they were the heel fodder for Reigns to look like a superhero.

That was a waste to Wade, as he believed the League Of Nations had greater potential to be something memorable. Unfortunately, that was never in the pipeline for the quartet.
