WWE brought the entire NXT roster together over the summer, sat them down and broke the exciting news that their brand would be debuting on the USA Network in just a few months. Thrilled, everyone from Adam Cole and Velveteen Dream to Shayna Baszler and Bianca Belair high-fived one another and couldn't wait to get started.

Only joking.

According to Cole's interview with PWInsider, the NXT gang didn't know that their show was moving to national television in September. They weren't told what was happening, and instead found out about the leap when WWE leaked a press release to the public. In other words, they heard the same time fans did.

This secretive approach didn't exactly annoy the NXT Champion or his peers, but they must've been a tad perplexed that they were the last to know. Waking up to read what was happening in their own company as fans around the globe took the news viral on social media would surely have caused heads to spin.
