Whenever Ric Flair speaks to the media or talks with his peers as part of an interview, he seems legitimately upset that he's now viewed as elderly. The 66-year old had one hell of a run as the 'Nature Boy', and is considered one of the greatest in-ring talents ever, but he just can't kiss the party lifestyle goodbye. During his prime, Flair took pride in living faster than almost everybody, yet still managing to wrestle lengthy matches. Lex Luger's recent appearance with Jim Ross on his podcast revealed a stunning fact. Working with Ric as part of The Four Horsemen, Luger had previously been a clean-cut athlete uninterested in the party lifestyle. Flair helped change that, and Lex would go on many nights out with his on screen associate. On more than one occasion, Flair hated to see nights begin to wind down, so he reached into his own pocket to prevent it. Luger recanted the story of one particular evening. Unhappy that the bar was being shut, Flair paid up to $1,000 to ensure that it stayed open for just one more round. Buying everyone in attendance a drink, the man couldn't comprehend the idea that his night was coming to an end. This shows just how real the 'Nature Boy' gimmick was to Flair, it was more than just a character.
