Having been signed in 2006, Jack Swagger is running close to becoming a 10-year veteran with WWE.

Making his debut on the main roster in 2008, Swagger quickly became ECW Champion before later runs with the World Heavyweight and United States Titles. At the start of his career, he was given some key advice by peers.

Mike Chioda first joined the then-WWF way back in 1989, and he is a senior official in the company. Aside from his referee duties, he is also a crucial part of WWE's road crew, helping set up for events and ensuring everything runs smoothly at live events.

The Sports Bible recently conducted an interview with Swagger, and he revealed that others recommended he befriend Chioda as soon as he entered WWE. Following the advice, Swagger did become pals with the referee, and claims Chioda has an incredible amount of knowledge about how the juggernaut promotion functions.

That's understandable, he has been around during the good times and the bad in WWE, and it shows how important the man is considered to be.
