"Tell me you didn't just say that", was a popular catchphrase for Booker T during his WWE run. On last week's SmackDown though, the company neglected to tell him much of anything.

Booker joined The New Day for a throwaway comedy segment on the show, and he had to scramble together some content for the skit with Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods that afternoon. That's because Arn Anderson, who had contacted him about appearing, didn't exactly know what WWE had in mind for Book either.

On his Heated Conversations podcast, Booker admitted that he was slightly nervous before going through the curtain, and he didn't have a clue if the segment would be greeted well by fans. When he got out there, Booker could relax, and (by the time he launched into the meat of his speech) the legend found he was ignoring WWE's script.

Dig that, creative suckas.
