Ever since becoming WWE 'King Of The Ring' this past April, Wade Barrett's career has floundered badly. The comedic nature of the 'King' gimmick really hasn't helped - there was a time when the King Of The Ring meant something in WWE, but it seems those days are over. Wrestling fans have been critical of how the man has been booked, but they're not alone in thinking the whole thing stinks.

Barrett himself was unable to hide his frustration during a recent interview. WWE stars are routinely expected not to bash the company on public forums, but the English wrestler is clearly one unhappy dude. The man is in the best shape of his career, but what he's being fed to do on television doesn't reflect that, his career is definitely down a hole.

Flat out saying that WWE's creative team have done nothing to aid his cause, 'King Barrett' will likely be pulled up over his comments. In fairness, he's right, the writing staff have done little to make fans take him seriously when he's on-screen. It's often interesting when stars start to rebel out of frustration, and it seems Wade Barrett has reached that point.
