It's very much common knowledge that Vince McMahon is a very hands-on kind of boss. For decades, McMahon has handed top stars a personal number, informing them they can call him at any time of the day or night. It's this kind of attention to detail that has helped make WWE a success, because Vince lives and breathes the juggernaut he helped build. When working for the then-WWF during the early-to-mid-90's, James J. Dillon performed many of his tasks away from the camera. Working closely with Vince on the management team, the former manager of The Four Horsemen marveled at how McMahon went about his day-to-day tasks. In particularly, Dillon was impressed at how Vince approached the character and brand of Hulk Hogan. Very much realising that Hulk was key to the promotion's success, McMahon would spend literally hours scouring tiny details. In the words of Dillon, the boss would even spend entire days obsessing over posters that had Hogan on them. In McMahon's mind, everything had to be perfect. It's no secret that Vince is a workaholic, but spending full days just on one poster is insane.
