10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (April 3)

4. Anoa'i Family Legitimately Angry At 'Mania Finish

During WrestleMania weekend, around 40-50 members of the famous Anoa'i wrestling family attended both the WWE Hall Of Fame and 'Mania 31 itself. Obviously, there was a lot of interest from the family in seeing Rikishi be entered into the Hall Of Fame, but there was also a lot of pride in watching Roman Reigns compete in the main event of the biggest show of the year. Reports currently circulating suggest that Sika, Roman's father, was so upset that the result he'd been told would be happening didn't go down. Sika had been informed that his boy would be winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title, and was thus outraged that the finish was changed whilst the show was still on the air. It's fascinating to see another side of the story here - a lot of fans were relatively pleased with how the end of 'Mania turned out, far preferring Seth Rollins as champion to Roman Reigns, but it seems the man's family were none too impressed. Immediately following the conclusion of the event, there was legitimate hostility from Sika towards WWE management, feeling the promotion had served to pull the wool over his eyes somewhat.
