10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (April 3)
3. Tensions Between McMahon And Austin
Vince McMahon and Steve Austin have always shared a love-hate relationship, similar to the kind of friendship McMahon has fostered with many of his top stars. When the pair are making money together, everything is dandy, but even the smallest issue can be taken out of context, leading to a full-blown argument. This past weekend, WWE booked Austin a plush hotel room for a few days, inviting him to the Hall Of Fame ceremony and WrestleMania. He was even booked on the same flight into California as The Undertaker, but chose not to attend. According to numerous sources, McMahon was furious at this, taking it as a sign of disrespect from one of the largest drawing stars in WWE history. On Austin's side, he was allegedly upset that McMahon had been critical of his podcast shows on the WWE Network. Vince didn't like some of the content, and has chosen to try out Chris Jericho in the slot instead, something which irked 'Stone Cold'.
