Nowadays, Jay Lethal is regarded as one of the finest wrestlers in the world. Back in 2010 however, he was just another face on the TNA roster trying to shoot up the ladder. Following on from his 'Black Machismo' tribute to Randy Savage, Lethal was written to mimic the 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair on an episode of Impact Wrestling.

Coming face-to-face with one of his childhood heroes, Lethal couldn't stop himself from feeling excited. That excitement is visually apparent when watching the segment back, although it's impossible to tell just how Jay was feeling inside as he traded lines with one of wrestling's greatest talkers.

Lifting the lid on the confrontation to Sporting News, Lethal said that he lost feeling in his fingers during the promo. As the confrontation stretched on, the problem worsened. By the end, Jay could barely even feel his hands, they'd gone completely numb.

There's something cool about that, Lethal was obviously pent up and bursting with nervous energy. In previous interviews, Jay has admitted to being jittery. This is the first time he has opened up about losing sensation in his limbs.
