The bright and bubbly nature of Molly Holly on WWF/WWE television has often been downplayed; despite not fitting into the more sexual approach to women's wrestling favoured during the 'Attitude Era', it's important not to forget that Molly did sow the seeds for later 'girl next door' characters like Bayley.

Coming across as wholesome and innocent was part of Molly's overall charm, and the former Diva proved just as sweet throughout her recent interview with The Art Of Wrestling podcast.

On that show, the former WWF Women's Champion opened up to reveal that she actually had a crush on John Cena during the male wrestler's early years in the promotion.

In the early-2000's, Ohio Valley Wrestling acted as WWE's developmental territory, and that's where Holly came across Cena. Instantly, she was captivated by him and went on to develop a teen-like crush on the future headliner.

Elaborating, a bashful Molly told the podcast crew that Cena was the only reason she visited OVW at all, and his presence was the motivation for regular training sessions at the group's training facilities.
