10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (Jan 16)

2. Scott Hall Couldn't Believe Sting Was Losing At WrestleMania

It looks like Sting's career as an in-ring wrestler may be coming to an end in WWE. The WCW legend has been announced as the first inductee for the annual WWE Hall Of Fame, and there's a chance his Night Of Champions bout against Seth Rollins may prove to be his last. Suffering injury during that match, Sting has been on the shelf since. There are still fans unhappy that he lost to Triple H at WrestleMania 31. Amongst those people scratching their heads, Scott Hall must be one of the most notable. Of course, Hall played a role in the bout, coming out as part of the nWo to aid Sting's efforts. Telling Sport Illustrated's Extra Mustard show of his surprise, the former Razor Ramon couldn't believe the planned outcome of the match. Rehearsing the finishing moments behind the scenes, Hall stared blankly at Hulk Hogan when he learned that Sting was due to lose the blockbuster showdown. Intriguingly, he also stated during the same interview that Sting always felt like an outsider of sorts in WWE, but doesn't agree that he should have been booked to stare at the lights for 'The Game'.
