Speaking of the 'Nature Boy', Ric Flair's recent health problems had everybody worried that one of wrestling's greatest partiers was about to check out. Ric was diagnosed with alcoholic cardiomyopathy and treated for kidney failure last Summer, and he was very open about his wild ways after being released from hospital.

Jake Roberts is someone who knows all too well the problems sustained alcohol abuse can cause. Just like Flair, Roberts has struggled to kick old habits throughout his adult life. Thanks to the help of Diamond Dallas Page and others however, Jake is in a much better place.

He wanted to extend the same aid to Flair upon hearing of his issues.

Roberts told this story to The Wrestling Estate, revealing that he reached out to Ric and offered to help him stop drinking. When Jake didn't get a reply, he decided to step back and cool his interest. Without elaborating too much, Roberts said Flair wasn't the most receptive to his help.
