It should be considered refreshing that WWE are willing to showcase smaller, more athletic wrestlers for the first time in years. At least, that's how things look on the surface with the Cruiserweight Classic on the WWE Network, but Daniel Bryan sees things differently from most others.

Announcing alongside Mauro Ranallo for the shows, Bryan recently caught up with The Fan Garage for an interview about both his involvement and thoughts on the concept overall. In the midst of revealing that Triple H wants to make the Cruiserweight Classic an annual event, Bryan also then went on to say that he'd love to see WWE bring back the Cruiserweight Title.

Perhaps most intriguingly, the former World Champion then shared his theory that many top names in today's WWE would have actually been considered Cruiserweights in a bygone era. That's a fair point, given the fact Bryan and other smaller workers, like CM Punk and Seth Rollins, have all captured the top prize in the industry.

Maybe the Cruiserweight Title would make for a great fit on Raw or SmackDown post-WWE Draft.
