As aforementioned, Goldberg was unveiled as a special pre-order bonus for the WWE 2K17 video game recently on Monday Night Raw. In order to hype up the forthcoming digital-only appearance, the former WCW man gave an interview to WWE's official YouTube channel recently. During the chat, his infamous match with Bret Hart at Starrcade 1999 was brought up.

On that fateful night, Goldberg all but ended Hart's full-time in-ring career with an errant kick. In years since, Bret has criticised his peer for being careless, planting a boot to the side of his head and jarring his neck backwards. The resultant concussion only led to more problems for the Canadian, and he was never the same performer again.

Visibly shaken when reliving the incident, Goldberg revealed that the kick remains his biggest regret in wrestling. Noting his massive amount of respect for Hart, he also says he wishes he could go back and decide not to violently throw his leg out.

It's fascinating to learn that Goldberg carries the knowledge that he effectively ended a legend's career with him daily, and struggles with it.
