In June 1994, World Championship Wrestling were gearing up for their biggest pay-per-view ever later that summer. Bash At The Beach would herald the in-ring debut of Hulk Hogan against Ric Flair, and this was serious business for the company. They were also capitalising on Hulk's fame by bringing in mainstream celebs like NBA star Shaquille O'Neal.

It was at Shaq's house that Eric Bischoff watched the O.J Simpson police chase.

That was a left turn you probably weren't expecting this entry to take. On his '83 Weeks' podcast, new SmackDown head Bischoff said he was filming a WCW commercial with Hogan, Jimmy Hart and Shaq when they turned on the TV to watch Simpson lead police on a merry dance in California. They were glued to the screen.

Picture it: Hogan, Hart and Shaq all decked out in red and yellow Hulk merchandise, Bischoff sitting close by and O.J f'n Simpson on the box. That's quite the visual, and it's something Eric says he will never forget.
