At least she didn't have to trade porn-star hip-swivelling for white trousers and a tie though, oh no. That was Val Venis' fate when WWE launched the Right To Censor group in 2000. Speaking to The Hannibal TV, Venis admitted that he wasn't a fan of the gimmick, but he went along with it because he could see how passionate Vince McMahon was.

Meanwhile, he was bemoaning the absence of another Vince.

Yes, as shocking as it may seem in an era when Russo's accomplishments are treated as inconsequential compared to his failures, Val missed the New Yorker's brash writing style. When Russo left for WCW, he says he started to see a downturn his on screen fortunes, and Venis doesn't think that's a coincidence.

Of the RTC gimmick, he said that wrestling in a tie, white shirt and slacks was problematic when he was known to sweat so much in the ring. A hard worker, Val liked to bust a gut, and he didn't think he could do that without being uncomfortable in business clothes.
