Older WWE fans will recall with horror the Isaac Yankem D.D.S gimmick used by Glenn Jacobs in 1995. Trust the garish, cartoon-like world of the then-WWF to come up with an evil dentist character and expect it to get over. Had Jason Jordan not changed direction, Yankem may not have been the only dental persona in WWE history.

The American Alpha star planned on using his real-life background in dentistry when working in the old FCW developmental territory. He must have been struggling for ideas, because anything would be better than a maniacal surgeon. Jordan giggled as he recanted this story to The Miami Herald.

Eventually, Jordan moved on to tagging with Chad Gable, instead of putting his all behind the oral schtick that surely would have flopped. It seems WWE stars need to learn their history and steer clear of awful gimmicks that failed in the past. 'Evil Dentist' Jason Jordan doesn't have much of a ring to it.
