Due to the impending birth of his second son, Matt Hardy (alongside brother Jeff) dropped the Raw Tag-Team Titles to Sheamus and Cesaro at Extreme Rules. It'd be interesting to know if that was the plan all along, or if WWE had a lengthier reign in mind for The Hardy Boyz before childbirth changed things.

There's a fascinating statistic to go along with Matt and Jeff's latest title loss. That Steel Cage defeat on June 4 came exactly 10 years to the day after The Hardyz had dropped tag belts to Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch in 2007. Things get better, because the dates they won the titles match up too.

On April 2, 2007, The Hardy Boyz beat John Cena and Shawn Michaels to win the old World Tag-Team Titles. Fast forward an exact decade and they returned at WrestleMania 33 to bag the Raw Tag straps from Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

Spooky.
