10 Wrestling Facts We Didn't Know Last Week (May 1)

4. Jeff Hardy Suffers Broken Leg

Given all the high-risks that Jeff Hardy has taken during his lengthy in-ring career, it's very surprising that he hasn't suffered more broken bones and injuries than he has. A known dare devil, Hardy's love of the adrenaline rush doesn't stop when he's away from the ring, something which recently caught up with him at home. Being filmed performing a dirt bike stunt on his ranch, the multi-time World Champion landed awkwardly, breaking his leg in the process. Already this week, the wrestling star has undergone surgery to correct his injury, one which will surely keep him out of the wrestling spotlight for a good while. Along with his brother, Matt, Jeff holds the TNA Tag-Team Titles, but it seems likely that the company will strip The Hardy Boys of the straps, although there's a good chance this won't be the last time the siblings hold the gold. Video of the incident has surfaced online, but viewers should be warned, Hardy doesn't last quite as flush as he does when jumping off ladders in the wrestling world!
