Don't expect to see Bill Goldberg crash his way onto Raw any time soon, because the ex-Universal Champ's run with WWE has come to an end. Looking back on his latest stint with Wrestling Inc though, Goldberg said that he was pleased to give his on screen character some redemption.

It turns out Bill didn't make a WWE comeback for himself, he did it so that the TV persona of Goldberg could right the wrongs from his last run back in 2003-2004. Money obviously played a part though, there's no way Bill was happy to work matches against Brock Lesnar, Kevin Owens and the Royal Rumble without significant financial reward.

Still, it's cool to hear Goldberg say he felt longtime fans deserved to see his character thrive in WWE. Previously, Goldberg had said that he was riddled with nerves before making a return, so it adds up that he was determined to show that his on screen persona could cut it in WWE.
