4. The Undertaker Told Vince McMahon He Wanted To Work With Mr. Kennedy
Ultimately, Ken Anderson's time in WWE was a case of unfulfilled potential. Released in 2009, the then-Mr. Kennedy had seemed poised to become a top name in the company for years. Eventually, he'd join TNA and be rebranded under his real name as Mr. Anderson. It'd be easy to imagine the man looked back with bitterness on his WWE run.
Nowadays, Anderson prefers to look at the positives from his time under the McMahon family umbrella. Bursting onto the scene in 2005, the Kennedy character managed to rise quickly up the ladder on the SmackDown roster and found himself facing the likes of Batista by the following Summer.
Talking to Interactive Wrestling Radio, Anderson remembered that match at the 2006 Great American Bash against 'The Animal'. Even more vividly, he recalls being approached by none other than The Undertaker following the performance.
Impressed, Undertaker told his younger peer of his plans. The legend wanted to inform Vince McMahon of his wish to work with Mr. Kennedy. This was a huge moment for Kennedy, the most respected man in the locker room had endorsed him to the boss.
